Advantages: Good value, high spec Disadvantages: Two faults, both fixed reasonably
...I bought my T Bird in November 1999 from Sainbury's and since then it has worked very well apart from two faults. The hard disk failed within a month (due to a bad batch apparently) and also within the warranty period the DVD drive stopped reading DVDs (but continued to work with CDs) On both occasions the service was completed reasonably and as these two products were not specifically Fujitsu I put them both down to 'another company'
I would certainly buy from Fujitsu again and notice that the same model (but with faster processor and larger HD) is being sold through newspaper adverts by a company called Under a Grand. Have a look at:

Advantages: light, cheap and very usful Disadvantages: 3 hour battery life
...A Compact laptop which features a 3 hour battery, windows 98 and a quick charge. Personally mine has done me well and the only problems i have experienced have been with the floppydrive, but this is due to windows not the hardware. I find the the supplied hard disk has more then enough space for what i use and it reasonbly fast to boot. It is a well design laptop and everything has its place. it is very quite and very light. Ideal for travel use and has lots of factory extras. The OS will need improving for really modern software, but for know there is no problems. Unfortuantly the casing finish is easly scratched if not stored proply. The PSU is compact and easy to use. This is ideal for a varity of different people....

...Well, in my opinion it is really great computer.
First of all I would like point up the size and the lifespan of this laptop. It's quite small and has quite powerful battery. It's very important for laptops. 4 hours of lifespan, in my opinion is enough for using computer without thinking about power lack.
Secondly, it's powerful computer. That shows "Core Duo" technology in it. That means your computer will be more quickly than computer with common processor! Moreover, hard diskdrive is quite spacious. Of course, it is not fitted for games.
Finally, I recommend this computer and for home using and for business. Of course, it has not the newest technologies. However, Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V3405 Edition would be the great decision if you have not any special needs....
