There's has been no shortage of racing titles in the ps3' early line-up, and in fairness they've been a pretty mixed bag. Only a couple of months of its life and the play station 3 may be reaching saturation point when it comes to middle- of - the- road driving games. In much the same way that Full Auto was introduced to the xbox360 at its launch in an attempt to give the genre a much - needed shot of adrenaline , Full Auto 2: Battle lines has stepped up to add some spice to the PS3.Shame that the game doesn't really hold up under great scrutiny then, because with so many features that stream mainstream appeal, battlelines could have pulled it off. As it is, Full Auto 2 will make as little impact on Sony's consoles as it did on microsof's.

The basic premise is a sound one and if you cant get fully behind that then you're going to have a whale of a time. Essentially, pseudo interactive have got themselves a good handful of burnout and an equally good handful of twisted metal: black and then mixed the 2 together with a twist of need for speed. By this point we're probably losing a great many of you.

Clearly this formula isn't going to appeal to everybody and as much as this hybrid ticks many of the right boxes in terms of accessibility, you cant get around the fact that it falls short in many respects. It never entirely convinces as a racer or a shooter. Its just brainless carnage - maybe that should be enough, but we need more. Full auto 2's biggest draw is of course its weapons and the mayhem that results from them. Having a shotgun attached to your bonnet can be very interesting . however the experience isn't a wholly satisfying one. Your primary and secondary weapons can both be controlled by the face buttons, but seeing that you have a recticule on screen at all times, you also have the option to aim and fire using your primary weapons using the right analogue stick. Clicking it in fires the weapon. In theory this probably sounds okay, but in practice its frustrating and a complete waste of time and effort.

thats the end of this review ill write another review tomorow bye for now! :D
