Even though it is the summer holidays and the kids are off school, they have managed to bring home some new found friends. My son has been in school for 6 weeks and has brought home many things - books, drawings, half eaten sandwiches and joy of joy nits. I have very long hair and suffer from psoriorsis - so I thought the itching was a flakey scalp and applied my steroid liquid. Welcome the nit ubermensch. Ever had Nits??? Then you will know what they look like, but for all you lucky people out there who doesn’t know then ill describe them a little for you. Their eggs are white and stick to the roots of hair, the nits are transparent, with a black part on there body. They are passed on with close head contact. I bought this product as it was advertised as the new wonder treatment for headlice. although it was expensive I was impressed with the fact it was odourless but dislikedthe fact it was very oily .I followed intructions carefully and left the lotion on my childrens head a lot longer than the recommended ten minuetes as the chemicals in the lotion are supposed to draw all the moisture out of the beasties and kill them and i thought id make sure it worked .Then i combed thoroughly as instructed .Then it was time to try and was this greay mess out of my kids hair and they dont like getting thier ... more
