Bought in March this year. The picture quality is excellent and sound superb. Have to say that I am very pleased. It was very easy to set up, in fact once connected you only have a few buttons to push and the TV does the rest. To date I have nothing to complain about. I have now used s-video to s-video from my laptop to the TV and the picture is brilliant. The Funai is very easy to use sound quality can be adjusted and this set is HDD ready. To set up you can either use the set itself, the buttons are out of sight on the top with easy access and very visible. To use the remote simply click on the setup and to follow the on screen instructions and make adjustments as necessary to you liking. I'm afraid this review won't help you with anything very technical. This dvd/video recorder doesn't have Divx or a hard drive and it is probably missing some other features that you might want if you are really into the technical stuff. But what I can tell you is that this is really easy to set up and really easy to use and it certainly has everything that I want or need for a very good price.
I wanted to replace a separate video recorder and dvd player because there were so many leads and I was never able to get it all sorted so that I could record on all stations. But with the single unit it is so much easier to set up.
I haven't used all the features such as editing yet, but the menu system is very straightforward. This is the perfect machine to replace a video recorder. It is great for recording everyday programmes using ...
