Advantages: Unique, a great toy for everyone Disadvantages: Complicated instructions, time consuming
While many Furbies by now have been sold, broken, been put to sleep, or even chucked in the dustbin never to be seen again, my Furby (Ko-Ko) is right next to me now, talking away, laughing, dancing and burping! I have to admit he has been asleep on my window shelf for the last couple of years…….but he is happy to be alive again! So why did these little computer run critters become so popular so quickly and then fall off the edge of the ... ...different greys. Like all Furbies he has a long fluffy white mane along his back and a small fluffy tummy. He has lovely big brown eyes and a little beak like mouth. The eyes and mouth move when he talks and when he is asleep he also closes his eyes. Just above his eyes there is a sensor which can sense what you are doing to the poor lad, such as throwing him up and down or kissing him. A Furby sits around 20 centimetres high and has a moveable black ...

Advantages: Really cute and Keeps children happier longer than some toys Disadvantages: Cannot learn it to say something is has not been programmed to say
...jokes. The furbies can also talk to each other, which is great if your kids have friends who also have a Furby, (twice the fun).
When you first get your Furby, it will speak mostly Furbish, which is very hard to understand; however you do get a booklet with translation inside; so it can be fun to work out what your Furby is saying. The more you speak to your Furby the more English it will speak. I think this applies to all models of Furbies. Both ... ...The newer type Furby has a Back Sensor, a Mouth Sensor, Microphone, Tummy Sensor and Tilt sensor. The older type Furby as almost the same, except he doesn't have a microphone. I bought my first Furby (the earlier model) for £35.00, and the new model which is in pink and white for £30.00. The pink and white Furby was bought from Woolworths. I cannot really think of anything negative to say about the Furby range apart form the fact that it isn't possible ...

Advantages: Good fun, cute Disadvantages: I wouldn't have parted with my hard earned cash!
As many of you may already know my partner, Dave, has recently changed jobs following his successful achievement of a ‘first’ in his BSc in Business Information Systems. The job he left was as a Project Leader in the IT Department of Wolverhampton University. So what did his boss buy him as a leaving present? Why a Furby of course! Now what else would you buy a successful 32 year old man? Mind you he is cute – the Furby I mean not ... ...a different way!
Sorry, I’m being silly now. I’ll get back to the subject in hand and tell you about the new addition to the family.
The Furby has soft fur, which is various shades of green in colour with a bright green mane and he stands about six inches high. He has a yellow beak with a red tongue and huge brown eyes with long black eyelashes and he blinks his eyes and waggles his ears as he talks.
He will sit quietly with his eyes ...

Advantages: loveable, funny, keeps the kids happy Disadvantages: my two year old keeps waking them up!
...big sleep!
The myth that furbies don't sleep is not true! They quite happily go to sleep on the own or with a bit of persuasion, like petting there back serveral times and there is deep sleep mode but I don't find i need that much! As i speak all mine have gone to sleep on there own, but they will be awake any minute now once my little boy realies they have gone to sleep!
Talking to other Furbies
If you've got more than one then the fun begins, ... ...longer they will last.
Furbies are not for general sale any more in shops but you can find plenty for sale on Ebay starting from as little as 99p! I'm on the look out for a shelby to complete my set (another one like a furbie but its shaped like a clam) if any one knows of one for sale let me know!
Well I hope you've been inspired to play with your little friends again, they are more fun than you realise ...

What can E.T do?
E.T loves to learn, play and have fun. he will react to your every touch. If he is neglected, he will become sick. If this happens, you need to love him back to health. If you have other E.T's, Furbies or Gizmo's, they will all interact with each other.
A sequence or certain actions, will make E.T share a "secret" with you. These secrets are:
*A burping and hiccuping frenzy.
*A hilarious laughing attack.

Advantages: Cute, a nice tie in with the website Disadvantages: Dull, relatively expensive for the fun it provides
...’m sure you are wondering what wonderful things my Mystery Island Kougra does. Well, to be honest with you, not a whole lot. Firstly, the head moves from side to side with the ears wiggle in a comical manner. This is cute and adorable for the first five minutes. The Kougra also makes various catlike noises to tell you what mood it is in. Picking it up and speaking to it softly will get the response of purring and happy sounding meows. Speaking loudly or ignoring the pet will eventually provoke the response of unhappy yowling and hissing, with furiously waggling of the ears and head shaking. The sensors are definitely sensitive to noise, with the toy responding to a loud noise from several feet away.
If you put any two Neopets voice activated toys together, in a similar way to Furbys, they will interact by making noises to each other...
