    Advantages Advantages A very nice mixture of Malt, Hops and fruit

    As I didn’t finish work until lunchtime today and what with it being Christmas Eve I decided to have a beer to relax after a particularly tough week this week. Once home it was simply a matter of picking which of the beers in my rather well stocked beer cupboard that I would opt for and in the end I plumped for a bottle of Badger ales Fursty Ferret. It’s a beer I only discovered on our trip to Dorset in September but one I have become very fond of, very quickly.     There are two reasons for this review. Firstly, I requested that 'Fursty Ferret' Ale was added to ciao because I've been reading a lot of real ale reviews recently and they reminded me how lovely this beer is. Secondly, I have JUST finished my masters dissertation and have JUST handed it in. So in a way its a celebration of finishing work and fine ale!     Disadvantages Disadvantages The word 'Ale' will mean it's classed as an 'Old Man Drink'

    Update of a short review What does it look like? It is a light golden piece of heaven. What does it taste like? Easy to drink and not too heavy. The taste isn't too brash or harsh, for people that haven't tried an ale before you can't go far wrong than to try this one. Fursty Ferret has a clean taste that doesn't crowd your taste-buds!! Would you recommend it? Yes it is a nice introduction to ales - more like a cross between an beer and a lager.
