Created and developed by Matt Groening, (he of the Simpsons fame), and David X. Cohen, this cartoon, based in the 31st century, is one of the funniest series ever made. The show primarily revolves around the antics of the Planet Express, a inter galactic delivery service, and their comical way of running a business. Shown on Comedy central, Virgin one and Sky one. **CHARACTERS** Fry? {Philip J. Fry} (voiced by Billy West), the pizza delivery boy who was accidentally frozen in time in the 20th century and then woken in the 31st century. Review of Sky One - Futurama

Matt Groening's Future Classic.

Advantages: Hilarous and versatile, with humor of all kinds and depths.
Disadvantages: Every now and then I fail to be amused, but that's true of all programming.

Someday, we will look back on The Simpsons and smile, for it will be in some sort of Animated Series Hall of Fame, should something like that ever come into existence. For now, however, we'll have to be content with new episodes every season, as bright and fresh and funny as the ones last year. The Simpsons, Matt Groening's brainchild, has been on television for over a decade. This half-hour program has surpassed Hanna-Barbera's "The Flintstones" as America's longest-running primetime sitcon (whew, that's a mouthful). Just about every single man, woman, and child in America has watched this cartoon on ocassion, if not regularly. Review of BBC2 - The Simpsons

Futurama

Advantages: Funny, good characters!!! :)
Disadvantages: Not as good as the Simpsons.

Made by the same people who make The Simpsons, Futurama is set in the year 3000, where Fry has accidently been woken up after been frozen for 1000 years when on New Years eve in 1999, at midnight, he accidently fell into a freeze machine which would keep him frozen for 1000 years, waking up in the year 3000, Fry doesn't know what to do, he has nobody, all his family are dead, the world has changed so much, with flying cars, and Robots. But luckily, Fry makes friends with Leila a cyclopse, Bender a Robot, and his great great nephew...who is actually around 100 years old...Professor.
