Future Cop, the title gives you a very clear understanding of what to expect. Working for the Los Angeles Police Department you are their new weapon against crime, a robot, capable of racing at the speeds of a car in your hover form or changing into a walking mode: walking on hind legs. In the game you come equiped with 3 different weapons types at a time: Normal, Heavy and Special. Before each mission you choose which weapons you want to have for your fight for justice, one per each of the three catagories. You are then set and ready to hit the streets! In this game there are two modes: Campaign Mode and Battle Mode...
Campaign Mode: In this mode you basically play the main game, i.e the missions. You start off with a small selection of weapons and then as you progress through the levels your weaponry is extended. Using your diffent weapon types to destroy the many different enemy units ranging all the way from single infantry men carrying pathetic machine guns and small rockets, all the way up to big massive flying bosses who bombard you with high explosive shells and rockets.
Battle Mode: In this mode you fight a computer player, called Sky Captain head-to-head in a selection of different levels trying to capture each others base whilst destroying each other. This personally is my favorite mode, I don't know why. Here, you get to transfer the weapons earned from the campaign missions in order to make your life easier against the Sky Captain. As you beat him, he gets harder and harder, until you get to Level 10 where if you complete each of the areas up to this level you unlock a funny Secret level at the end.
This game is a 1998 game and is good for its time, but is in a sky view or over the shoulder view. The 3-D graphics are ok but not the best I've seen. Controls are great, sound is nice and crisp, soundtrack is ok and difficulty isn't too difficult, but hard enough. Overall, I'd recommend this game if your looking for something to go onto a computer that lacks the preformance for today's newist games, but can cope ok with 3d graphics. It can probabily be bought for about £10. I'd give it a 7/10

Future Cop L.A.P.D. is a fast action game set in futuristic Los Angeles in which you control a robotic police vehicle that can change from a hover craft to a walker.
You have to battle through the levels against evil villains, shooting down enemies and collecting power-ups. You can complete the game by yourself or with another robot (controlled by a friend on split-screen).
There are a number of different weapons to choose from, each better at ... ...extremely fun, in it you have to conquer your enemy’s base, your enemy can be human or the computer controlled sky captain. You can capture turreted guns to shoot down any enemies that come within range, you can also produce tanks and helicopters. The helicopters defend your base from intruders while the tanks set out to capture the enemy base, the enemy base is captured if a tank or a dreadnought (large tank) enters the base.

Future cop L.A.P.D is actually one of the best games I have played in a long time. Although you’re a future Robocop type, it’s surprisingly realistic and extremely fun to play. In the mode where you do missions with one or two players, you are the robot and you are basically the police’s main weapon against crime. As you go through the ten or so levels, you work towards certain objectives. At the end of each level there’s a funny video and you get ... ...of them are pretty long too. There’s also a different mode, where you fight each other but rather than fighting directly with one another, you make lots of little robots, the objective being to destroy the opponent’s base. This is made harder by turrets that can be captured and air born robots that can be destroyed or created. Both modes are great fun. I recommend this game. ...

...about 50 years in the future and you are a huge robot with a man inside fighting crime and freeing hostages. This game has a huge amout of long level and the graphics are good and there are a lot of weapons to try out. When playing the game you are not in the first person you are above the robot. This is the one dissadvantage of the game, the camera angle. You can change this angle by pressing the select button but as you change the view it does ...
