MY STORY
Christmas last year, I received the hardback copy of Growing Pains, and read it almost instantly! Taking me a few weeks, I enjoyed every word of the book, and was devastated when I reached the end!
Then earlier this year, I heard that a paper-back copy of Billie's autobiography was in the process of being published. I 'ummed' and 'aahed' for quite a while, considering preordering it on Amazon. But I was unaware of the exact month it was to be released in the shops, so I just waited a while. Then I came across paperback Growing Pains in WHSmith mid-August, priced at £6.99. I didn't really want to pay that, so I decided to pick up a copy and have a quick 'flick'. Recently after travelling for 10 months I was inspired by other people in different countries to grow my own vegetables. I thought it was great the way they were able to grow most of their own food and be self-sufficient. So I decided I would try and grow as many vegetables as I could. At least I knew what was being sprayed on them and that they would be organic. As I didn't have the first idea about growing my own food I bought myself this book and my partner has some land. All I needed to do was follow the instructions and tips of this book. I planted my seeds and currently watching my vegetables grow successfully.
