My partner has been with Future Mortgages since 2003 ish. Had no trouble with them until recently.
They told him he was supposed to pay ex amount on one payment. Fair enough. But when it came to the DD going out, it was not enough. He was given the wrong amount on the phone or they decided to add a little extra on. Since then they have done that twice to him, ending in the DD to be suspended. So he has had to pay manually though Barclays Bank, who they are with.
They are now claiming he is in over ex amount in arrears, and basically calling him a liar. He has the recipts to prove he has paid it, yet they are still sending out letters that he is in fact in arrears!
He paid before a Bank Holiday, and they called him up the following day after the bank holiday claiming that he had not paid! Are these people that thick that they seem to 'forget' that Bank Holidays put DD's and payments a bit slower than normal? The woman he spoke too was relishing the fact that he was supposedly in arrears when actually he isn't. And I was non to polite to the woman when she all of a sudden went rather quiet!
If you can avaoid these people then do so at all cost's they will try and milk you for evey penny possible!! And their staff are rude, incapable of understanding customer service and some can't grasp the idea of a call centre headset!
