Advantages Look great, lovely fit, lots of colour choice

Disadvantages leak, leave bum sogy, expensive, poor customer service

I converted to cloth nappies quite late on, when my daughter was ten months. the main problem was that with my son i tried some two part systems ( a nappy with a waterproof PUL wrap) and just didn't like it. Had i known about 'pocket nappies' then, i'd never have looked back!

Pocket nappies are fantastic, simple and quick to use and once stuffed are as easy as a disposable yet without the chemicals! oh, and they look so much better too!

Fuzzi buns are of traditional pocket nappy design. they are shaped like a disposable, have a stay dry fleece inner and a colourful PUL waterproof outer. They're very easy to wash and super quick to dry. they come with a standard micro terry insert, also quick to dry. However if you have a heavy wetter you may want to purchase additional inserts of hemp or bamboo, they take longer to dry but are more absorbant (& are natural fibres)

Fuzzi buns always come highly recommended, hence why i bought some.

Fuzzi-buns are a sized nappy so if you're on a budget a birth to potty nappy would prove much more economical however, sized nappies can offer a superior fit. However with fuzzi buns offering so many sizes, you have to wonder if they're just cashing in on the idea!

They come in a wide variety of shades and colours and more recently in very popular prints!

However, they remain one of my least favourate pocket nappies. When worn they are incredibly nice to look at and a very neat and slim fit so perfect for under clothes.

My main issue is with wetness though.

This is the only brand of pocket nappy in my collection that consistantly leaves my daughters bum wet. Whether it's worn for an hour or three horus the fleece inner is -always- very soggy. I've tried hemp/bamboo/micro fibre etc for stuffing and still get the same problem. It is also the -only- nappy i've had a leak with! I've even stripped the nappies (a process where you remove any and all detergent build up which can affect absorbancy) and the problem still remains. Beware, if you have a problem i've personally found the fuzzi buns customer care to be atrocious and sub standard.

I would not purchase fuzzi buns again.

they have also recently added another manufacturing location in mexico and apparantly there has been a lot of inconsistancies with sizing and poor leg elastic etc.

A good looking nappy, a good fit but very poor performance wise and not a very economical option.
