Large-format 600 x 600 dpi printing at a small-format price makes the new Elite XL 608 the ideal choice for your business. The Elite XL 608 is a versatile laser printer that will fulfill all your business needs. The 600 dpi resolution produces high-quality text and graphics for letters, reports, and proofs. Full-bleed output is available on a number of paper sizes, up to 11" x 17"/A3. The Elite XL 608 also provides flexible interfacing with many different computer platforms. Its Automatic Emulation Sensing and All Ports Active features allow it to be shared over a network while printing concurrently from Windows, Macintosh, and UNIX platforms. Full support for PostScript Level 2, PCL 5, and HP-GL/2 protocols is standard. Paper handling is also made easy with the Elite XL 608 optional paper tray assembly. Many paper input options eliminate the need for constant re-loading of paper trays. The Elite XL 608 is also expandable for the future, with the standard 8 MB of RAM upgradeable to 64 MB using standard 72-pin SIMMS. This is a top of the line portable projector at a reasonable price. It’s more or less an updated version of the XL5 and XL8 models. It brings you brighter, richer and sharper images through LCD technology.

...Many new systems are now supplied with a DVD drive by default. Not only will they function as a normal CD player but can also handle the much higher capacity DVD media used for movie playback and distributing vast amounts of information on one disc. The Encyclopaedia Britannica now comes on a single DVD disc. Movies only require a single playback speed but data access will always be improved by faster drives especially if users are using the drive to read from a database or play data-intensive games with high image quality.
