Advantages Advantages The poems are annotaed clearly, and concise. It gives model answers to typical exam questions.

Disadvantages Disadvantages The book does not go into enough depth for revision.

The CGP study guide is for Paper 2 of the GCSE English exam and is aimed at the AQA A specification. I have used this book for my revision and found it to be quite helpful. Advantages Advantages Good context for the poems

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not detailed enough in term of language

this book is just useful to the complete max. i don;t think there is a guide book for the anthology which is just as great. for my gcses i decided to get cgp revision guides for absolutely every subject i took but i did think that the company was a bit overrated in many ways. the reason being is that many of their guides seem to miss out vital info but this is definitely an exception. there isn't anything they've missed out here apart from your own thought about the poems. every poem is laid out on a different page with tha detailed analysis on a page beside it which is great whilst revising ... more
