I have been a user of the MK4 GHD for a month now and I have thoroughly enjoyed straightening my hair with this product.
With it's sleek design and rounded barrels you can easily create curls, flicks and waves for your hair, and the GHDceramic plates have even better temperature regulation, giving stunning straightness, smoothness and shine to die for
Advantages:
* High Temperature - Alongside the ceramic plates, the new GHD's give you absolutely straight hair, making it smooth and shiny, what more could you ask for? The barrels protect you from burning hands, easy to use.Dependant on how straight you would like your hair, one stroke = slightly straighter, two strokes = very straight, three strokes = extremely straight/dead straight.
* Rounded barrels - This quality makes it extremely easy to create curls, flicks and waves. Two in one, straightener and curler. With this, you don't need to spend money on a curler because these GHD's all you could wish for.
* Small and lightweight - I have come across allsorts of wide and heavy straighteners in my life and this one is fantastic. Its thin and compact like, no worries about the weight, and it can be easily stored. Not to forget, the cable is strong and secure!
* Sleep mode automatically turns off - If you leave your straightener unattended for more than fifteen minutes, if will switch off for you! This makes it very easy for me, normally, with previous straighteners I worry about whether I remembered to switch my straightener off, this way I don't have to worry about burning my carpet!!
*Multi voltage - this straightener can be used in international countries making it suitable to take abroad with you! Making your hair look special on the other side of the world.
*DVD for demonstration - This was very interesting to watch, it gives you tips, advice and different styles which can be your inspiration - displaying more than one style it gives you great ideas, teaches you how to straighten, curl and style your hair like the top stylists do!
DISADVANTAGES
* Expensive to some - I purchased mine for £120.00 however you can find some cheaper on a number of sites online. Although these straighteners are expensive, it sure did not stop me, with great honesty, they are well worth it!
*Same design - The straighteners are of the same design as normal - not very different, like most GHD merchandise.
OVERALL, I have not had a problem with the straighteners at all and I wish I purchased these straighteners years ago, but they only get better right?
