These hair straighteners are the best ones i have come across. I am no expect but i have tried quite a few different hair straighteners by borrowing friends etc!! After a few subtle hints on my part my boyfriend brought me my GHD staighteners for christmas last year and they are my favourite item in my bedroom!!
What they look like... ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
The straighteners are long and slim and black in colour. The ceramic straightening plates are an orangey colour and are very smooth. The straightener has a 2m black cord coming from the handle end and the on off switch is a slide switch with a red light which flashes when the straighteners have reached the optimum temperature.The design of the straighteners is very stylish and they have a nice professional look.

They have a long 2m salon length cord which makes them easy to use. The straighteners heat up in 7 seconds and to show that they are at the maximum temperature the red light flashes so you know when they are ready to use. They are designed to give out even heat all over the plates and the plates are ceramic coated which creates a negative ion which seals in moisture preventing hair damage and so the end result is straight, sleek and healthy looking hair. The straighteners are robust and do not take up too much space so are easy to take away with you. The size and shape of the straighteners make them easy to use and prevent burning! The plates glide down the hair easily without pulling on the hair and it only takes about 10 minutes to straighten a full head of long hair.
How to use them... ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
To straighten my hair i brush it first to make it easier to straighten and then take a section of dry hair and slowly glide the straighteners down from the top of the section to the bottom and then move on to the next section. I normally go over my hair again with the straighteners to get a nice extra straight and smooth finish.

Although they were quite expensive at £110 i also got a bottle of ghd iron oil and a pot of ghd modelling wax included in the gift set. I definately feel that it was worth the money as i wouldnt be without them now and i love the way they make my hair look and feel.

I would definately recommend these straighteners as my own experience with them has been a great one and i have only heard positive things from other people who have used them. They are expensive but definately worth it....and its even better if you can drop enough hints for someone to get them for you for christmas!!!!
