...As a novice to straightening my long, thick and naturally curly hair, I am extremely impressed with the ease of use and instant effects of these straighteners. My friend used Babyliss ones to straighten my hair for me before I bought these and they took twice as long and my hair wasn't as straight as with these GHD's. The wide plates allow bigger sections of hair to be done at a time without losing any of the straightening power! Extremely quick to heat up, a nice long cable and comfortable to hold; I cannot fault them. My hair stays smooth and straight even after sleeping on it (with a run through of a brush and spritz of spray), and lasts until the next wash (a good few days). ...I recently bought the new ghd IV salon styler from ghdhair.com for £119.00. Normally i wouldn't spend so much but i have to say it was definately worth it! You see I have long hair, and lots of it! I have used other straighteners which although have managed to make the top layer of my hair straight, they have never managed to straighten underneath. During my last haircut my hairdresser told me i have "bendy" hair. 'Charming!' I thought, but she was right. I never thought i'd find a straightner that could remove the 'kinks', but my new GHD works wonders. The ghd IV salon styler also has wider plates.
