I have been gradually gaining weight for about ten years. At a size 18-20 on my lower half I was a bit depressed at my appearance. I have tried to diet by myself but I always chuck it in after one too many packets of crisps that have tempted me. The best thing to do with these workouts, after mastering the basic steps, is to combine both the Level 1 and Level 2 workouts for a really good workout for your body. It is the combined workouts which Rosemary says can help you lose UP TO 500 calories in one go, pretty good going really! The 40 minutes went quite quickly for me, and I found Rosemary encouraging, but not irritating, unlike some other presenters of fitness DVD's I own! It is quite focused and there is no mucking about, so it is a serious, but in a way, fun workout to do.
Now the DVD also comes with 2 tone-up sections. These both last for 10 minutes each and each one focuses on different areas of the body. The first one focuses on your Upper Body and your abs. The second is your hips and thighs. Again, I would say to start off with one at a time, particularly if ...

I first bought the Hip and Thigh Diet book when it came out in 1989 and must admit I was very sceptical about it. How wrong I was.....!! I didn't have much weight to lose, I had put on a few pounds after being "idle" when I broke my leg and ended up in plaster for 5 months. I had tried other "faddy" diets before but nothing had worked, so when I saw this book I decided to give it a go but didn't exactly hold my breath. I enjoyed reading about how she "discovered" the diet, after being diagnosed with gall bladder problems and she decided to cut out fat from her diet - and she noticed how the weight dropped off her.
I loved the way RosemaryConley listed the good and bad foods, forbidden and allowed ones. Also the tables at the end of the book (easily accessible) listing grams per ounce of fat in foods. She lists a wide variety ...
