We got our mortgage with them back in June 2006 after we were refused by a number of banks due to me and my partner having a default on our credit file. Interest rate of 6.0.% fixed for 2 years. Not had a statement from them yet. The only bad point was we changed our house insurance poilcy and GMAC charged us £40 for doing this . Spoke to them a few times on the phone and their manner is well polite and helpful. Any problems you have if they can help they will do there best to assit you in any way.
Also , just before Christmas i applied for a loan for a new car and GMAC was the finance company , they took a bit longer in getting back to me but they accepted my loan and now i have my car loan with as well. The APR is a bit higher due to my credit history.
