Navman ST raight through

Advantages: Gets you there, is upgradable
Disadvantages: Downloading can sometimes be slow

Garmin xt mobile A-OK highly recommended

Advantages: Cheap compared to standalone, removes the need for seperate sat nav
Disadvantages: No post code only search but this can be resolved with adding a house number of any house

Having used a Tom Tom Go 700 for a number of years, I decided to update the maps of Western Europe. Tom Tom uses software called Tom Tom Home which is used to download the updated maps. Review of TomTom Map of Western Europe Maps

You need tom-toms to find your way

Advantages: Large clear menu for touchscreen. Quick setup to navigate to postcodes. Clear driving instruction.
Disadvantages: Poor POIs, Lack of route preview. Missing villages. No cam preview found.
