GTLegends, Try that mini cooper against the GT40..
Review of GT Legends (PC) by exup35

Advantages: great choice of classic cars, realism
Disadvantages: demands a high performance PC, occasional online idiots, hard to play with keyboard

This motor racing sim has been out quuite a while now, but still has its following, especially with online racing fans. The cars included are based on actual cars from the 1960's and 70's . split into 3 classes. the TC65 (including the mini cooper and lotus cortina) GTC65 (E-type Jaguar, Ford GT40) and GTC TC76 (Ford Escort RS, DeTomaso Pantera) The cars are modelled very well, and even though it isn't the most modern game out there, the realism ...
...still one of the best. These aren't modern exotica and you can feel the old style suspenion complaining as you throw the cars into turns, the tyres smoking enough to make Top Gears "The Stig" proud. Sound quality is escellent, not only of the cars engine notes, but also the stereo or suuround if you have it, you can hear which side other cars are in relation to yours. the scrape of bodywork if a pass gets too close, or the shatter of panels should ... The cheapest way to go racing classic cars
Review of GT Legends (PC) by thingus

Advantages: Great realism, plenty of cars to try out, details of cars
Disadvantages: Problems with graphics on low spec machines, weak track graphics a letdown, AI needs greater adjustability

After reading the review of exup35, I decided to try out this game, and I thoroughly agree with his opinions. Yes, there are other games which have more visual impact, and the weak trackside graphics do let this game down - for some tracks, the graphics are not that good, with the crowds looking particularly poor (clearly cut and paste 2D figures). To compensate, the modelling of the cars is brilliant. However, it must be noted that you will need ...
...this game - since my machine is barely minimum specifications, this would probably explain why the paint schemes in the game are blacked out. On the other hand, it is fascinating to drop into the cockpit view, if only to see the dials moving (the cockpit dials are entirely functional), and the 'driver' shifting through the gears and working the pedals. So, to the cars - these vehicles are all from the 60's and 70's, and these are divided into three ... Read review

GT Legends, Cant stop loving the old legends.
Review of GT Legends (PC) by Drunken

Advantages: Classic cars, physics, graphics, sounds, amount of content
Disadvantages: Might be hard for beginners

...simulations. Games such as GTR, GT legends, GTR2 and as latest Race07 are even if slightly lacking, very good simulations. To give little background for me, im a passionate sim racer. Played most of them, and i race on many online leagues. So the opinions are from a little bit of a serious racer rather than casual one. GT Legends simulates the FIAs series for historic racing cars, therefore it means it simulates the old racing cars as they are raced ...
...doubt everyone will find a classic which appeales to him from the game. My own favourites are Fords Mustang and Escort, and very spicy De Tomaso Pantera. It is very nice how Simbin has managed to give each car a very unique feeling. Each of the cars feel and sound different. You can use various driving aids like in any other simulation, but they always take out from the fun. This game definitely needs to be played with a steering wheel. At the start ... Read review
