When I first saw Gadget Asia I must admit to being a little suspicious as I have seen other similar sites which have been fakes. I did some research and found a few forums with people saying they had received their purchases without any problems so I thought I would give it a try. I wanted a Nintendo DS Lite in red and black. I saw them in the UK for £119 but nowhere seemed to have them in stock. I found one on Gadget Asia for £145 with a bundle of 20 games. I found this site while trying to find a Nintendo DS for my wife and this site - gadget-asia.com - was cheapest. I found a Nintendo DS Lite Red with Brain Game 2 for GBP 105. The site informed me that it would come with a US standard adaptor and suggested a UK compatible for GBP 5. Which I ordered with the DS. I had some doubts as the site is Hong Kong based but I need not have worried. Wow. That's all I can say! I ordered a R4DS from gadget-aisa.com late on the Friday afternoon, and I received it the following Wednesday morning. To say it came half way round the world in less than four working days is amazing! It can take longer than that posting within the UK! Used Gadget Asia back in January 2008 to purchase a Nintendo DS Lite for one of my daughters. The bundle included 20 games for £145.00. We decided against the fast delivery option as reviews on the web suggested these would arrive with a bill from customs. The unit arrived OK within about 7-10 days and most of the games work fine. Great purchase, good value for money, superb experience. Based on this, we decided to buy another DS Lite bundle from Gadget Asia on 24 August 2008. I ordered on the 11th December and receved my DS with 20 games on the 18th. How anyone could expect games that would retail separately for £400 for £40 could be anything other than one disc is beyond me. If Customs do catch you for the £24.75, which you have to pay via Fedex, it is still better value than anything in the UK. I asked a lot of questions beforehand (it's a lot of money to send abroad to an unknown company) so knew exactly what I was expecting.
