Gaggenau BO 270-110 / BO 271-110

Advantages: fast ignition, very powerful
Disadvantages: quite chunky looking

...For those who dont know the brand name Gaggenau, I would put it in the most simplest comparison 'it is the Rolls Royce/Bentley of appliances'. Gaggenau has been around for many centuries and its name comes from a small town in Germany. The range of appliances is vast including large capacity ovens built in ovens, steam ovens, coffee machine.....etc (the list is endless). I came across Gaggenau appliances almost three years ago now and since then I have met many committed customers of Gaggenau who have had the appliances fitted for more than 20years. Amongst the appliances is the 90cm gas burner hob KG491 210. Available in stainless steel with aluminium control knobs, but certainly for the serious cooks who love to cook on gas. Advantages: Good range of programmes
Disadvantages: Small load size

...clothes and curtains. I've not got around to using all of the programmes and I am sure I never will but I have been happy with the performance of the programmes I have used so far. The machine is reasonably quiet in use and the standard programmes seem to run for around an hour and a half. The quick wash programme is my personal favourite and takes only 40 minutes, it's really handy when you know that you need a pair of trousers ready for the next morning or for rinsing out swimming suits and towels quickly. It is not a good programme to use on heavily stained items as it has left the smell of BO on some sports clothes but great if you are in a hurry. I also like the fact that you can select the speed of the spin cycle for each wash with spin speeds from 400 to 1400 and the option not to spin at all. This is a really handy feature and you... Advantages: Standalone cooker profiled to match kitchen units

...-printed markings are starting to wear off through the cleaning process. It seems that even wiping with mild soapy water will eventually be the demise of these. At the moment, we have a Bom O and a Tp n. Well we know what they are anyway. What worries me more is the loss of the temperature settings for both ovens. I’m thinking of making an acrylic template showing the existing marking for the day when they all finally disappear. Then at least, I’ll be able to re-ink them with marker pen after every clean! The click stops for the hotplates are not such a problem, as long as you remember which way they turn.
