Advantages: Looks fantastic! Disadvantages: Only makes one cup at a time
...The BabyGaggia is very small and compact, taking up very little space. It comes complete with all the bits you need for measuring coffee for either espresso or cappucino drinks - however it doesn't include a jug for frothing milk.
It heats up quickly, and the "frother" is brilliant - if a bit noisy! The powerful pump makes for great coffee. There are two spouts, so in theory you should be able to make 2 espressos at the same time. However, I have found that is not as easy as it sounds! If you don't hold the cup directly under the spout it does sometimes spray around a bit!
The big disadvantage of this machine is that when making cappucino, you need to empty the coffee chamber for each cup you make. This can be a bit laborious - and messy.
In 2 years I have had one problem with it - my machine was about 3 months old when one...

Advantages: Quaility, Quality, Quaility Disadvantages: You wont ever use instant again
...This is my second Gaggia, and believe me when you buy your second Gaggia its not because the first broke down, its because you have decided to move up in the brand. My old one is salivating my girlfriend now, so I can now get great coffee when I stay over with her.
I use Illy coffee with my GaggiaBABY, and it just means that you get grade A high quality coffee shop coffee when at home. I purchased when in Brown Thomas's in Dublin, the price for me converted was £198 which is pretty par for the course if you shop around. Previous experience told me I was buying quality so I was happy to purchase away from home, and my partner lives in Ireland anyway. There is some excellent quality options on the web from very good quality suppliers.
The Gaggia comes with a 15 bar pressure Pump, this is an important feature as my expert friend Al...

Advantages: Smart, efficient, perfect gring every time Disadvantages: Not cheap, noisy
...We bought a Dualit grinder after seeing some indifferent reviews of the Gaggia one. We were looking for a reasonably priced but high quality grinder.
There seems to be three classes of electric grinder. The under £20 cheap ones (usually blade grinders), the £30-100 burr grinders, and the £100-400 commercial type grinders. The Dualit seems to be the best of the mid-range models We have been delighted with it.
The Gaggia Classic expresso machine will produce perfect crema every time if you grind your beans with the Dualit (on the finest setting).
We have also used it to regrind already ground coffee and this also works perfectly.
Like all Dualit products it is built to last. It also looks the part. In keeping with the Dualit style, it is not the most modern design, but it will still look smart in 20 years
An excellent appliance...

I like ice cream. My family likes ice cream. We scoff pots of Haagen-Dazs or Ben and Jerry’s but bemoan the price we have to pay in comparison with our experiences in other parts of the world.

On initially taking the machine out of the box it felt quite flimsy and plastic compared to other coffee machines I have owned. Three buttons sit on top of the machine respectively, one to switch on, one to pour coffee and one for steam/frothing. The... more
