Advantages: Flashy looking
Disadvantages: Twice the price of the same models

...This is the same EXACTLY as any other Gaggia Synchrony/ compact. The machine is made by Saeco which is badged as Prima/Gaggia and Saeco. Prices for the same machines run at 230 pounds to over 800. The only difference being the buttons, it does nothing different to Synchrony compact (Costing a couple of hundred pounds) I bought this to replace a synchrony Compact but returned it when I rumbled their ploy! They do make good coffee, better than the Siemens range (Which i tried) and my god it pushes 'nespresso' into a corner by the throat and beats it to a pulp!. Advantages: Compact for small worktop space
Disadvantages: push in buttons that stick, milk frother takes some practice

...I had one of these machines, I loved it very user friendly and after a couple of weeks my froths were Great . It is a solid and lovely looking Machine and is not too bulky its Ideal for people with limited space. The cups fit on the top which keeps them warm the only problem was the buttons on the left push in and out and they kept getting stuck after only one month of using it , we were in the middle of moving to another country so we could not exchange it . I dont know if this is a general fault with this model or just a one off but since last year we have now got another Gaggia with switches as opposed to Buttons and we cannot fault it I think for any Expresso lovers out there go for Gaggia as you get the taste of real coffee shop coffee but in the comfort of your own home Cappacino's come out lovely... Advantages: great coffee-good value for money machine
Disadvantages: water refill can be a bit messy

...I have had my machine 3 years and feel it was v good value for money compared to larger much more expensive Gaggias.It is a compact machine and the silver details are quite stylish.It makes great coffee and the steam/milk frother is easy and much better than other machines i have used-though the angle of this does mean that you get spillage if you fill the milk jug too much ! The water container slides out sideways and can slosh out water if your not v careful replacing it. I had problems with steam leakage after 21/2 years and sent it back to Gaggia for servicing-it cost £60 for a full service and all parts but my machine is now as good as new-so cheaper than buying another one.........
