Advantages Pretty much none stop music
Disadvantages adverts
For a commercial radio station, Galaxy is good at playing music for a good proportion of every hour. There isn't too much talk and the music played is mainly dance and chart music. Throughout the day they have regular half hours where they play music none stop. The breakfast show obviously has more talk, but is usually quite entertaining and the male and female presenter bounce well off each other. Just recently they have been playing a lot of older dance music, so nostalgia as well! I would recommend Galaxy as an alternative to other local stations or to lovers of Radio 1.
