I am a big fan of Galaxy Chocolate, soft creamy chocolate that melts on your tongue, so when I came across Galaxy Instant Hot Chocolate Drink I was delighted. I don't drink Tea or Coffee so when I fancy a hot drink I always have chocolate and now I had found my favourite chocolate in the form of a hot drink brilliant.
Directions:
Add 4-heaped teaspoons of Galaxy instant hot chocolate to a mug and add boiling water, making sure that you stir well both drinking.
After I had left my hot chocolate to cool for a while I was ready for that creamy chocolate taste to fill my mouth, I took the mug to my lips and sipped the drink, I was shocked by the taste, it was very bitter and almost like dark chocolate in flavour. I was highly disappointed, I went to the sugar jar and added 2 teaspoons to the chocolate stirred it and took another sip, that same bitter taste still filled my mouth; I tried adding more of the chocolate but still not difference. In the end I had to throw it down the sink, what a waste of money and what was Galaxy thinking?
'Succumb to the smooth pleasure of creamy, Galaxy hot chocolate drink, made with real Galaxy chocolate' - is what it says on the jar! If that's not false advertisement then I don't know what is, it tasted nothing like Galaxy Chocolate.
Also on the jar is a website address: www.drinkgalaxy.com I decided to have a look, I was surprised to find that Galaxy Chocolate is part of the Mars umbrella, I have tried the Mars milk drink and really enjoyed it so it surprises me that this one has gone so badly wrong.
Mars are also responsible for: Malteser's Hot chocolate drink and Flyte Hot Chocolate drink - personally I will be staying away from them.
The jar I bought was 400g and cost me £1.99 what an absolute waste!
