Advantages: nice lasting fragrance, not expensive, good range Disadvantages: none that I can think of
Avon Sensesshowergels are well priced at £1.50 for 250ml. I have tried and still use the Mystique and Reflection ones from the range, but there are several others, all with different smells and bright colours.
Mystique claims to be sensual and romantic, and in fact, does smell how I would imagine it would. There is the slightest hint of sweetness to it, but not too much. The frangrance is absolutely gorgeous, and lasts for a few hours after showering. Being pink helps in my house!
Rflection is purple, and labelled as peaceful and soothing. i expected it to smell of lavender, but it doesn't. Again, the frangrance isn't overpowering and smells like nothing else I can accurately describe. It's a bit like a combination of Radox bubble bath, and those night-time pillow sprays you can buy to aid sleep. That sounds daft but it ...
Advantages: smells nice, layers and compliments the scent of the perfume Disadvantages: none really, slihtly expensive for some
Hugo Boss ~ Energise ~ ShowerGel
I bought my husband a Hugo Boss Energise gift set for his Christmas, he has a few Hugo Boss fragrances and he likes the smell of them as do I. Inside the gift set there was a bottle of Energise Eau De Toilette, a tube of showergel and shaving balm. The gift set wasn't that expensive and only cost me £30 for all three items; when I'm buying perfumes I tend to always buy gift sets because they are better value for money. The Hugo Boss Energise showergel can also be bought on its own from most department stores if you don't want to buy a gift set.
As you can see from the picture at the top of this review the showergel is supplied in a silver coloured tube which has a chunky silver screw on/off lid. I think that the tube of showergel has really simple colouring and design; yet it still ...
Advantages: smells OK, lathers well, gets skin clean Disadvantages: nothing special about it, a little pricier than others
I tend to have a few bottles of showergel on the go at once - one to suit every mood! I noticed that a lot of my Lush showergels are approaching their use-by dates, and as such have been using them regularly over the past few weeks to make sure I use them up on time! Having got to the end of all of the others, I was left with half a bottle of The Olive Branch.
When it came to picking a showergel, nine times out of ten The Olive Branch would be near the bottom of the list. I don't know what it is about this product, because it's nice enough - as I will describe if you read on - but I suppose it just lacks the 'wow factor' I've had from some of the other Lush showergels I've used, such as Slammer and Snow Fairy.
The Olive Branch comes in the same packaging as the other Lush showergels (apart from the name on the label ...
