Super Smash Mayhem
Review of Super Smash Bros MeLee (GameCube) by JcMullaney

Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: Can get boring after a long long while

Super Smash Bros. Melee is a version of the classicly brilliant Super Smash bros for the N64. It compares brilliantly with lush graphics, colours and sounds. the gameplay is still a bit beat 'em up, but with so many extras In addition to new characters there are also many new items and weapons, a greater range of pokemon in pokeballs, more stages and more modes of play. The main game can geta bit boring but you actually want to do it to collect ... Read review

Kombat for Mortals and others!
Review of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (GameCube) by HeavensAnime12345

Advantages: Action, Blood, hardcoreness
Disadvantages: Too Much blood, does not seam real

Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance is not a game for little kids, it is a game for hardcore gamers, who can take the violence and the action. There is lots of blood in this game, so i warn you before you play this game. There are loads of characters, and loads to unlock, there are some very good training, and you collect money to unlock stuff, like characters, videos, and other such things like artwork and stroylines. There are 3 fighting styles, the ...
...most people know of the mortal kombats, they are what it says on the cover. This is Mortal Kombat!!! I loved this game when it first come out, and I am looking forward to the next one in the series, Mortal Kombat Deception. You will probably find this game around £20 - £30 nowadays, it is on XBOX, PS2, and Gamecube, it is worth the money and i recommend this game to every hardcore action fighter that are over the age of 18. Thankyou Very Much ... Read review

Capcom VS. SNK 2: Millionaire Fighting 2001
Review of Capcom VS. SNK 2: Millionaire Fighting 2001 (GameCube) by RayWhitney

Advantages: Pinnacle of 2D beat 'em ups
Disadvantages: Inconsistent graphics

Capcom Vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium is probably the pinnacle of the entire Street Fighter (and Street Fighter-related) series. There's a massive selection of Street Fighter games out there, so saying this is quite a bold statement. However, I reckon that this game is the one where they really managed to perfect the formula, and the fact that Capcom have thrown in a massive selection of SNK characters too only makes it sweeter. So, so much sweeter. ...
...ups from that era. With Capcom breaking into the mainstream with Street Fighter II (and later, Darkstalkers) and SNK pleasing the more hardcore elite with Fatal Fury and King of Fighters, they pretty much split the market between them (special mention should go to Midway's Mortal Kombat). It was great news that they were joining forces to make a series of games, even if it was because SNK were going out of business and Capcom were jumping on their ... Read review

Argueably the best beat-em-up on ANY CONSOLE.
Review of SoulCalibur2 (GameCube) by buster91

Advantages: Lush graphics, very strategic gameplay and hundreds of button bashing moves to perform. Back stories galore and interesting characters.
Disadvantages: 1 on 1 multiplayer only, can be a little complicated and incredibly frustrating.

The graphic on this game will make your eyes water, they are so incredibly detailed and flawless. Of course the game begins with fearless warriors on a quest for "the ultimate weapon " and thus Soul callibur is introduced, the weapon that is the source of all evil. Using one of the many interesting characters you must destroy every opposition in order to claim Soul callibur. The gameplay is so incredibly liquid and easy to pick up, within minutes ...
...unusual weapons while getting caught up in the classic story of good v evil. Each character has their own back story and connection with others and of course plenty of unlockable weapons and costumes. In the gamecube version you get an added character, Link which is one more reason for any nintendo nut to buy this game.Plus the music is amazing and the voiceovers are some of the best I have ever seen. ...
