Only rated a 2 because it's funny.
Advantages: Half-decent Humor Disadvantages: Just plain crap.
This game really has no point, its all a bunch of rednecks driving trucks to different area's and getting supplies to sell and along the way racing a few more rednecks with trucks. The only reason i haven't sold this game is because of the humor i get, it throws in the redneck voices, and it lets them listen to rap. So if you want to choose from 4 rednecks to drive a truck around a state, then this game is for you. If you want some racing action ...

Let's go make some craaaazy money!
Advantages: Fun, good graphics, fast, soundtracks go really well Disadvantages: doing the same thing over and over
...Welcome to the world of Crazy Taxi.
The aim of the game is this: You choose one of four cabbies and use their own taxi to pick up as many folk and drive them to their destination in a certain period of time. You must avoid lots of traffic, take mean shortcuts and have total disregard for your passenger's well-being in order to make lots of money. The more money, the more time you get to play.
I loved this game straight from the start due to it's ... ...there. There's something called Crazy Box mode. This tests your skills to the max. You must complete tasks in order to progress to the next challenge and hopefully complete all of them. There are challenges like pop balloons in a certain amount of time, bowling, see how far you can jump. These can be quite tricky so don't expect anything easy.
The city that Crazy Taxi has used is San Fransisco. It doesn't call is San Fran but it doesn't call the ...

Flying Pink Fluff?
Advantages: Simple Controls/Light-hearted gaming/Innovative Disadvantages: Dumbed down graphics/ A little too simplistic?
Finally Kirby makes his debut to the Gamecube! He has been sighted before - in Super Smash Brothers Melee. However, this time, the magical shape-shifting pink ball has his very own game. Kirkby's cute appearance is usually a great hit with younger children, and games featuring him are often quite wacky and simple, yet addictive.
So, what is the twist in this odd game? Kirby's Air Ride is a strange caliber of racing game indeed. The reason for this ... ...yourself into the air. Take Kirby (which actually features in an array of colours to select) and a then a vehicle, which range from a generic Kirby Game warp-star to what resembles an Ice-Cream-cart. All of these vehicles are married with a variety of different stats. That done, you then take to racing through various courses.
During play, whenever you go off of a jump you have the option of keeping your vehicle afloat and gliding through the air. ...

One word. SPEED.
Advantages: Blistering speeds and graphics, detailed tracks and plenty of modes Disadvantages: Some modes lack, a bit glitchy, Need F-Zero AX to unlock things
F-Zero GX. Many say it's the fastest racing game of them all. Whilst this may be true, lets look at some promises and specs:
- RRP (When released), £39.99
- Rated Teenager by ESRB
- For Nintendo Gamecube
- Licensed by Nintendo.
Well, to start with, lets have a short history lesson of the F-Zero franchise.
It all started on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (S N E S) with a game called F-Zero. A rather basic racing game. 4 playable machines, ... ...the game i am reviewing, F-Zero GX.
Lets start with some of the basics.
Starting the game
I jammed in my memory card and disc and i was away. It got to the part where it asked me if i'd like to make a save file. I obviously said yes. Then this snazzy screen came up telling me to input a name for my file (Which may i add was utterly pointless since you can only have one save file per memory card). Once done, the start screen which pictured ...

-(History)-
Acclaim were quite a mixed company. It had many great games, like the original Turok games, Aggressive Inline and Extreme G-3, yet they had some less than stellar games. They had a track record for not doing so well ... ...In 2004, Acclaim filed for bankruptcy. First released on the N64, the Extreme Racing series has been one of Acclaims main brands, competing well with Sony's famous Wipeout series. The first was a success, the second was disappointing, the third was another success and the fourth (and final) one was pretty average.
-(The Controls)-
As far as controls go, they're perfect. To gas you press A, and to steer your car you use the left stick. The left ...
