Advantages: good choice of weapons, innovative missions Disadvantages: graphics are ok but not great, multiplayer is poor
This is the first Medal of Honour title I've played and whilst I definately enjoyed playing the game and would recommend it to any Gamecube owner, I do have a few reservations. The game is a first person strategic shoot-em up set in WW2. You play an American soldier assigned a variety of missions. One of the advantages of this game is that all the missions require different skills. Some can be completed by simply blasting your way through, but others ... ...make your way up the beach under heavy fire. This is probably the most graphically impressive and exciting mission in the game, so everything after is seems slightly disappointing!
Overall I would recommend Medal of Honour to any Gamecube owner as a very playable, but not revolutionary action game. ...
Advantages: Neverbefor seen features from an FPS Disadvantages: Repetative gameplay
GoldenEye Rogue Agent is a first person shooter. Rogue Agent seemed to me as a basic shooting game when I first got it but as you play through it you get a feel for it and can have some fun. This game features many characters from other 007 movies such as Dr.No and Auric Goldfinger. In the game you have the option to use two guns at once and you have a goldeneye that has up to four different powers that you earn as you progress through the game. ... ...shields. There are also different bonuses that you cen get such as melee kills and death traps. Even so the game does get repetative but also gets harder. The multiplayer is terrible, you can get up to 4 players but only for one type of gamemode. There is no AI opponents in the multiplayer. I would say that if you can get a good deal on it pick it up, otherwise forget it. ...
Advantages: Varied missions and voice acting of Peirce Brosnan Disadvantages: Gamecubes version has slightly worse graphics
James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing Review
"With everything at stake, the world calls on Bond".
I believe that James bond everything or nothing is the best James bond game to date, certainly on the Gamecube. The previous games based on the timeless film formula have all been in first person and everything or nothing is in 3rd person and really breaks the mould in many respects.
Plot (9/10)- Everything or nothing is not based on any of the films ... ...the world's greatest secret agent, James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) who is an excellent marksman, exceptional driver and a gentleman, in every essence of the world. You have to destroy the nano-robot project which was stolen from Oxford University, which was made to facilitate the remote inspection and repair of hazardous nuclear containment facilities- however in the wrong hands in can be used for a very different purpose. On your journey as James bond ...
Advantages: Lightsaber fights Disadvantages: Terrible graphics and setup
This Star Wars game had a lot of potential but was blown off course with too many cheatcodes. The idea of the game was brilliant. They had a game that would give us the power to be a Jedi. The thing was that they did not have an effective way to use the powers. The story line was pretty good. The weapons make you feel more of a mercenary than a Jedi when they should have made it even. Another fault is the fact that you can only use one power at a ...
Advantages: enjoyable game, lots of zombies to kill Disadvantages: voice acting is a little off.
...Gamecube remake of the first Resident Evil game, in my opinion, is slightly better than the original. Whilst I enjoyed both games, the remake was much more insightful and frightening to play. Game Plot The player chooses the scenario they want to play which is Chris or Jill. I have only ever played as Jill as her scernario is easier but it is completely down to the players preference. Jill, a member of S.T.A.R.S alpha team, alongside Albert Weskter, ... ...is the major upgrade for Resident Evil - the gamecube graphics are really fantastic, especially against other games that were around that time. They pay alot more attention to detail and the colour of the mansion makes it alot more mysterious. The characters have more 'lifelike' proportions and there facial expressions are a lot clearer. The little things like adding lightening every so often adds to the atmosphere Another feature is the sound, Resident ...
