Excellent controller...
Advantages: Excellent responsiveness, easy to use Disadvantages: Will cost to replace batteries often, can be pricey to buy
The wireless controller is the game pad accompanying the next genration consoles today and the XBOX 360 controller is an all-round excellent product. The controller is very simple to use and although you won't need it, the distance from which it is still responsive is very impressive. When playing your favourite games, the controller is very responsive to multi-button actions and will never give you any problems. When i think of controllers i have ... ...remember getting frustrated at the fact that the trigger buttons very quickly became stiff but i can't say this has ever been a problem with this next generation controller. As for robustness, i have dropped the controller a couple of times with absolutely no effect being noticed on either the controller's appearance or it's responsiveness.
The two main problems i have found with the controller are the price tag and the battery life. Fortunately, ...

Why am I the only one Wii-ally disappointed?
Advantages: Looks and the multiple ways to use it Disadvantages: Fails in it's primary use as the reponsiveness seems haphazard and the games don't help, Price
...it's a great idea, just Nintendo didn't quite pull it off to the level that was expected and as a result it's a controller with a pointer on the end as opposed to the next step in gaming. As a “normal” controller it does the job though does seem a bit backwards in the world of the 360 control and the Six-Axis, as a wand control it's yet to really find any games that make the best use of what could well be best served as the job for a mouse (point ... ...that Nintendo have so far put out (Mario and Zelda excepted) have done little to show off how great the control can be.
Overall doesn't meet up to what was expected and instead it looks like it's space aged but as a controller is more 1990's than 21st century. ...

Saitek X52 Pro Flight Control System
Advantages: Sense Of Proffesionalism, Very Smooth, Great Grip and Control Disadvantages: Not Very Portable, As State Of The Art it comes at a high price
The Saitek X52 Pro Flight Control System is state of the art in flight control systems. As a frequent user of flight simulator the saitek X52 has made my flying even more enjoyable with the control smoothness and joystick re-centereing. In total the amount of different switches is 30, however as there are three mode settings you can have up to 90 button configurations. Installation is quick and simple, and runs as soon as connected via USB. In total ... ...instead of the usual 3/4 on older joysticks. The metal material on both the throttle and joystick gives a sense of proffesionalism and the rubberised surface on the throttle and joystick handle give a good firm grip. I would recommend this to anyone who has a serious interest in flight simulation both civil and combat. Even though it's expensive it is definitely worth the money! ...

A solid gaming device
Advantages: Ease of use, brand name, good fun Disadvantages: Few gaming niggles, construction is good but not brilliant
What can I say? I brought this steering wheel and didnt have very high hopes for it after reading several negative reviews.
However for what the product is and claims to be versus the price, I believe that the steering wheel is well worth the money.
For a start the ease of use is incredibly easy, even for an inexperianced person. Its straight in and off you go.
It works very well with some games and provides a solid experience though has compatibility ... ...tweaking around, these issues become even more minor.
The construction of the unit is a small let down. It feels sturdy but im sceptical if it will pass the test of time.
Overall for a PS2 steering wheel this is great for some light fun. Past that however you will start to notice its flaws. And there are flaws which detract from a totally immersive gaming experience. Then again, if you are a Sim racer, you probably wont be using the PS2 as your ...

An excellent product
Advantages: It's one of best game controllers I've found Disadvantages: Not for people who hop from one game to another
...been previous versions of this Belkin pad, it only has one competitor that I'm aware of: the Saitek Pro-Gamer Command Unit.
I bought the Belkin product first, and loved it. Lured by the fancy lights, and my good experience with Saitek in the past, I bought the Saitek product to replace this, and I only half regret doing so.
I've never liked using the keyboard to play a game, and this is an excellent solution. The software that comes with it does ... ...with the joystick, whereas the Belkin unit is laid out in a way which makes this more difficult.
However, although the Saitek software makes for much, much better programming - it does everything the Belkin software does, and much more - I've had a problem which I suspect is a conflict with my Saitek joystick (x52), resulting in frequent system crashes. Even with the joystick disabled, the profile manager locks up or fails to load. There's nothing ...
