Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller for Windows
Review of Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller for Windows - game pad by
mystik
Advantages: Identical to XBOX 360 pad, build quality, fell
Disadvantages: None
...game pads. This pad from Microsoft is superb in every way and it's great to see that many games now (on a decent PC) can really mirror the XBOX 360 in terms of experience. You don't need to be tucked away in a PC room getting RSI from a keyboard and mouse. You can play console games on your media centre PC in the lounge and it feels like a console. All buttons are identical to the 360 controller so the build and performance is perfect. I cannot fault ... ...I haven't tested the wireless version but I can just tuck it to the side and as gaming on the PC is not all does the wired version is a very good price for occasional use. Oh and as a final note, what on earth is the large X button for on the PC? It opens HOME on the XBOX but does nothing on the PC, maybe it can be mapped to a function but it's not obvious after installing the software or when in use. ...

Xbox 360 wired controller
Review of Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller - game pad by
jammyd0
Advantages: Saves you money in the long run, great reliability
Disadvantages: you cant get 4 of them to play 4-player
My experience with the Xbox 360 wired controller is great. It is a great piece of equipment for the 360. The fact that it is wired also means once you have bought it you don't need to buy any batteries or battery pack. So in the long run it's saving you money. Also if you have small rooms in your house this is perfect why cash out on a wireless controller when you could spend £10 less on a wired one. Also the practicality of this product is great. ... ...if you want to play 4-player you will need two wireless controllers as well which means you will still need to cash out on these but buying two wired and two wireless is still saving you about £20, which all in all is still money which you could then spend on a game or something else. ...

GameCube Controller
Review of NINTENDO GAMECUBE Controller game pad by
Orangeman19
Advantages: Vital to play GC games.
Disadvantages: Loads of cheap copies around and official brands are more expensive.
...Gamecube or Wii. The official nintendo ones are obviously the best because of the superior build quality and feel but finding an official nintendo one can be tricky as they are rarer and slightly more expensive because of the vast amounts of cheap copies on the market. But if you don't mind forking out that little bit more cash and putting a bit more work into finding a decent official controller, it pays off as they will last forever.
If you can ...

Gravis Destroyer Xtreme
Review of Gravis Destroyer Xtreme Joystick - joystick by
Gehn
Advantages: Comfortable, good control
Disadvantages: Heavy, cumbersome
This joystick has both pros and cons, but overall is worth the buy. The lever on the side provides an excellent form of control for flight simulators and the like when used as a throttle, and the center button allows for more delicate manipulation. The stick itself is comfortable to hold, and easy to move. One of the biggest problems is that it is just too big (And hence also too heavy). It takes up a large amount of space, and is cumbersome to use ...

Wii Zapper Review
Review of NINTENDO Wii Zapper - light gun by
eggnatious
Advantages: Cheap, Light, Comfortable, Fun
Disadvantages: Limited
...piece of kit for your Nintendo Wii. It comes with a game 'Link Crossbow Training' which is just a small game to show you what the Zapper is capable of. With a number of shooting games, some stationary targets, others monster and even the odd piece of fruit or two, the Zapper shows you how comfortable and how realistic shooting games can be on the Wii. You simply slide your Remote into place, latch your Nunchuk on and you're good to go! The trigger ... ...and you can use both your right and left hand with this product. Although the game is limited, you must understand that it is only a demo and at £20 and less you'll be pleased got the Zapper. Other games this can be used with include, but are not limited to; Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles and Medal of Honour. I don't have any real qualms with the product, however, those who aren't as savvy with these things may find the Nun-Chuk a bit fiddly ...
