==So what is Game.co.uk?==

Game sells video consoles, games, accesories, gadgets and legal downloads. It also has competitions and GAME exclusives.

How easy is it to use the website?

The website is simple and easy to use. It has a search bar at the top of the site and a list of catergories down the left hand side. It is easy to find what you are looking for and any product can be found in under a minute. When usind the "search" bar, you can select what consol you want the game to be on before you search. An "Advanced search" option lets you search using information such as; age rating, price range, publisher and developer. Overall i would say that the ease of use is 10/10.

What features do the website have?

Store Finder: This enables you to enter your postcode and it will find the GAME store nearest you. (It has a list of shops for the republic of Ireland)

Reward Card: With this you can sign up online for the GAME reward card.

Wish List: This is basicaaly an online list of products you would like from the website. You can add comments and share the list with friends. (You must have an account for this feature)

Help: The help feature has lists of questions set up under different section headings. It has very detailed questions and will answer the majority of your questions.

Amazing Deals: This section is a list of the discounted products available from the website.

Coming Soon: This is a list of products that will soon be available from the website.

New Releases: This is a list of new releases available from the website.

Competitions: These are competitions exclusive to the GAME website.

Multibuys: These are deals where if you buy one product you can get another for free or discounted.

Click and Collect: This is where you can purchase a game on the website and then pick it up from your local store.

GAME content: This is a review section of the GAME website.

GAME Exclusives: These are products that are exclusively available to GAME.

GAME news: This is full of games related news.

These are a good range of features and i can not think of anything else that is necessary for the website to have so i would say that the features are 10/10.

How about the prices?

To compare the prices i decided to take 3 products as random and then search a price comparrison site (Pricerunner) to find the cheapest prices for them.

Lost for Playstation 3: Game has it for £29.99 delivered.
Amazon has it for £24.98 delivered.

Super Mario Galaxy for wii: Game has it for £29.99 delivered
Blah DVD has it for £27.95 delivered

Lost Odyssey for xbox 360: Game has it for £39.99 delivered
Amazon has it for £37.48 delivered

Based on these three games the prices seem a little high. However sometimes it is worth paying an extra pound or two if you are purchasing from a website that you know you can definately trust. It all depends on where the cheapest copy is coming from whether or not you want to risk it.

I would give the prices 8/10.

Anything else?

Appearance

The website looks nice and it is not full of pictures and links. It has enougth to make it visually pleasing without going over the top.
10/10

Speed of the website

The website is quick to load and the pages change swiftly. It hasn't freezed when i've used it and that's a surprise with my laptop.
10/10

You have to have an account on GAME in order to be able to buy games. In my opinion they will sell less games because of this. It put me off a little and is (Along with prices) one of the few things that lets them down.

Console Bundles

GAME offers bundles of consoles and games. This cuts some money off and would be goo if you were buying it as a gift. e.g Christmas. That way you can play it right away and save money!

Partnership Programme

If you have a website there is a section of GAME.co.uk that allows you to put an advert for them on your page and recieve commission in return. This is becoming quite popular with most websites now.

Summary

Overall this website is one of the best i have experienced. It is fast, attractive and very simple to use. The prices aren't the best but they could be a lot worse. The features are useful for anyone who can't or doesn't want to set up an account as you can use the store finder. The other features are all useful and arn't just there to make them look good. I would reccomend this website to anyone who wants information on games or just to buy them. It scored 48/50 which in my opinion is a pretty good score.

Thank you for taking the time to read
