Great System that Didn't Last
Advantages: Great Graphics, Great New Features and a Cool Memory Card Concept Disadvantages: A Small Game Library that Lacks in a Few Genres
...not really enough to call Sega a force in that genre. I think one of my all time favorite games on that console was 4x4 Evolution and I was pleasantly surprised to find people still playing it online.
Overall, it was a great system that unfortunately got pulled off of shelves way too soon. ...

The Golden Age Of Gaming.
Advantages: Best console anyone of any age could own Disadvantages: They're no longer availible to buy commercially!!!
...was time well spent. The Sega Mega Drive is undoubtedly Sega's gaming triumph, for 3 simple reasons:
1)Games.
Although Sonic the Hedgehog made his debut on the previous system, the Master System, he really broke though into a household name on the Mega Drive. There are a series of Sonic games on the MD, Sonic 1, 2, 3, Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic Spinball, and more! And athough each game follows the same basic format, each is more entertaining than ... ...more! As well as exclusive Sega games only availible to the MD (and other sega consoles), such as Streets of Rage, Columns and Shinobi, there are cross-console games and all time classics, eg. Mortal Kombat, Lemmings and Pac Man.
2)Simplicity
What could be simpler? A console, a plug (You know those plug with multiple ends? well they work, just incase you misplace your original), a standard round-ended aerial, a game. The beauty of the Mega Drive ...

Imaginative System That Didn't Last Long
Advantages: Good Graphics, Great Multiplayer and a Pretty Decent First Controller Disadvantages: Short Game Library and a Short Life
...ahead of their time because Sega tried to use technology that developers had trouble developing off of but when games did push the system to its limits they looked beautiful. One of the big issues that developers had with this system is some of the shapes in the games, some enviroments had oddly shaped rocks or trees. Character models however, were on par with the Playstation and the colors on the Saturn were a little brighter. Multiplayer is very ... ...Playstation, it doesn't even come close.
Overall, the Saturn ends up being another console by Sega that makes people wonder "What Could Have Been", if Sega had given a little more time for their last two systems, which were great systems, maybe their console business would still be around. ...

...Mega Drive adapter, you can use it in the Game Gear to power it instead of batteries.
Overall, the Game Gear has so many capabilities but it is let down by its awful battery life. I would only recommend to Sega fans because you won't be pleased with this. ...

Sega Mega CD? Sega Mega Crap!
Advantages: Grandfather of CD consoles Disadvantages: The Sega Saturn should have been the grandfather
Do you know why Sega stopped making games consoles after the Dreamcast and concentrated on making software for other consoles? It is because Sega’s executives have always made stupid, ill-informed decisions. I mean, how many mistakes can a company make before they start to wise up and start doing things properly to make a profit and appeal properly to their fans? The Dreamcast was a step in the right direction, but it was already too late and Sega ... ...this horrid contraption called the Sega Mega CD. It was made to prolong the life of its aging console, the Sega Mega Drive, since the old ‘16bit’ and ‘BLAST PROCESSING’ marketing ploys stopped working. I remember in my childhood that only the rich kids could afford a Mega CD because it was way too expensive for any commoner, such as me, so we could only sit there and watch in envy as they acted really cocky about it. It was worth over £300 back then ...
