The Original and Best
Advantages: Months of Entertainment, good Build Quality Disadvantages: Some people will find it difficult
I first saw a Rubiks cube when I was 10 and my dad could solve it. I asked him to show me how he had done it, but as you can probably guess it didn't make too much sense. I'd kind of forgotten about it, but I saw one in a Toystore and thought why not. The great thing about this particular cube is that it comes with instructions on how to solve it, so a particuarly determined individual will solve it in the end. It does require a large amount of determination ... ...now solve the cube in just under 2 minutes, with a little guidance from the internet too. But even after you have solved it there are hours of fun to be had with it.
You can make various patterns using simple moves, and its always good fun to show off to your friends. The product can make you look exceptionally smart, especially if you can solve it at a reasonable speed. There are alot of imitation cubes on the market, this one is a proper cube ...

So much fun!
Advantages: fun and entertaining Disadvantages: fast paced and frustrating
...days later. The Bop it is a hand held game which costs £17.99. It looks a bit like a UFO and definitely wouldn't look out of place if it was in the sky at night. There is a big 'push' button in the middle with two arms coming out of it. On one there is a wheel that spins and a knob to pull and on the other there is bulb to twist and a flap to flick. When you switch the game on there is a computerized voice that tells you to either 'flick it', 'spin ... ...to simply find the right arm and follow the instructions in time with a beat of music. If you take too long or get confused then it's game over! I find that the voice of the person is a bit annoying but the main thing is that it's loud so you can't be a bad sport and make excuses by saying 'I didn't hear what it was saying'. That was my dad's excuse! The knobs and buttons are easy to use but when you hands start to get sweaty from the pressure of ...

U.B Funkeys is a fun and family-friendly online PC game where you are a U.B funkey in this new interactive world. There is always sound ...

Game For All the Family
Advantages: Fun outdoor game, which can be played by all ages. Disadvantages: Can cause arguments, particularly between younger children. Expensive.
...usually inside. The difference with Giant Pick Up Sticks is that the sticks are 3 feet long, and designed to be used outside on a lawn. This makes the game quite different, since they do not roll so far when dropped and the technique for removing sticks from the pile involves steadiness of the hands rather than the fingers.
Giant Pick Up Sticks is a fun game for all the family. It is ideal for summer family barbecues as it is possible for everyone ... ...particularly between small children, due to the fact that judgement must be used in deciding whether or not the player has moved a stick or not. Because of this it is very advisable to appoint a non-playing judge (one of the adults!). This also makes it inadvisable (depending on the children of course) to allow the children to play alone. Particularly because the 3 foot length pieces of wood can so easily transform into weapons!!
The main gripe ...

Life Is A Game
Advantages: Interesting board game everyone seems to like Disadvantages: Takes a while to set up
Game Of Life one of the board games I remember from my childhood, when the whole family would sit down together on a Sunday, after Bullseye and Sunday Dinner, and play a game whether it be cards or one of the many board games we had.
History
The game was originally created in 1860 by Milton Bradley, and was called The Chequered Game Of Life, and it sold 45,000 copies in its first year of production. The game did not include a dice as these ... ...middle comes from. The original game was based around a chess board and the object was to land on good spaces and earn 100 points. You could earn another 50 points by reaching happy old age which was at the end of the game opposite infancy where you began.
One hundred years later, in 1960, the modern version of the game was introduced by Milton Bradley Company and featured a circular picture of Art Linkletter on the front as he ...
