Pass the Bomb! Advantages: great game, really gets you thinking Disadvantages: you can be made to look v.stupid! ...round and it was called Pass the Bomb! Sounds ominous I know (don't worry its not a real bomb!). Well, it was great fun and very different to the usual type of games which go on for hours and people lose interest. The game starts by drawing a card from the pack which is shown to all players. Each card has letters on it and can be two or more letters. A dice is then rolled which tells all players whether the letters shown by the card must be at the ... ...if you can! I though pass the bomb was a really good game, because it can reduce people with the longest of vocabularies into mumbling wrecks! Pass the bomb can be played with any number of people, so long as there is more than two and is suggested for players aged twelve and above. The game retails at around £25.00, which I think is good value. You don't require a table or board to play, so in theory you could play wherever you wanted. Bop it all the way !! Advantages: easy but hard but addictive :O !! Disadvantages: :S Bop it extreme two is a portable electric game. • Dang! Advantages: Versatile, Disadvantages: When you can't guess it!! I actually came across this game whilst meeting up with extended family a couple of years ago. We stayed at a hostel and next to the ageing Monopoly and tired-looking Cluedo with a missing spanner and no Colonel Mustard we found a game we'd never heard of before....Dingbats. This in itself looked rather tired, the box was fading and dog-eared. But we pulled it out and had a look. Inside were a lot of cards with strange letter combinations, numbers ... ...card, guessing the phrase or saying it was trying to depict. Now there may have been a format to this game, a way of sitting down round a table and playing with the aim of someone winning, but we just took random cards out and held them up, to see who could figure it out. connect 4 Advantages: great classic game Disadvantages: boring after a while ...to be the first to connect four counters together. Players take it in turns to use the yellow and red counters and placing them into the grid to form a straight line of four in a row, vertically, horizontally or diagonally. Who ever gets the four in a row wins the game. Each player takes it in turns and needs to think strategically as to where to put there next counter to help them to get four in a row, but to also think about if they need to block ... ...a great game.
