Advantages: easy to assemble, good for beginners or to fill out squads of existing players' armies Disadvantages: A little expensive for what they are, static poses, require assembly and painting.
The Introduction
The CadianShock Troopers are models for the Warhammer40,000 miniatures game by GamesWorkshop. Currently in it's fifth edition, Warhammer40,000 sees players pitch armies of painted minatures against each other in tabletop battles set in the grim darkness of the 41st Millenium, where the galaxy-spanning Imperium of Man fights for survival against alien races such as the brutal Orks, the fearsome Hive Mind of the Tyranids, and the soulless living metal hordes of the Necrons. The Imperium's first line of defence against these threats are the brave men and women of the ImperialGuard, of which the Cadians are one regiment among countless thousands dotted throughout the Imperium.
The Cadians in particular are charged with guarding the Eye of Terror, a rift in space that acts as the single stable portal into ...
Advantages: Great pacing, amazing character development, surreal setting (almost Noir) Disadvantages: It will end once you have read it
First off let me point out that if you are not into Warhammer or Sci-Fi then this isnt going to make you a die hard fan. But if you do happen to fall into either of those two rest assured this is one awesome book. Anyone that has heard of Dan Abnett knows that even at his worst, its an enjoyable book, and this is not his worst. ...
Advantages: Interesting concept Disadvantages: Poor execution, hard to control, poor sound

The game is turn based and I found the game play easy to pick up and start playing the game. In essence the point of the game is to move your armies a certain number of positions, then make fighting decisions about what to do with those armies, and then you let the computer respond with its move. This whole process is controlled by action points, which you can either use to move or fight.
Graphics wise, I wasn't impressed with the game. The second screen of the Nintendo DS should have been a positive feature for this game, but it is in my view wasted with a different to comprehend map feature. There are times where it isn't possible to really see ...
