    I hate gardening. I do NOT have green fingers, but I do have two gardens. I bought this book after watching Alan Titchmarsh on "Ground Force" because I thought he seemed to know what he was talking about. I have not been disappointed: Titchmarsh does know his gardening, and what's more can get his knowledge across to non-gardeners like myself. I have absorbed a lot of knowledge from this book. Now, even though I hate gardening, most of the plants (and I know most of their names) in my garden flourish. Recommended. ... more
