Excellent software, Installed on my Nokia E71, Key points:
GoodTraffic updates, Speed camera databases as free download, Quick route planning and excellent routes taken
Bad points: no post code only search but just add any property number
Installation is easy enough, the manual is very good and informative so dont worry about being non technical, and if you are technical you wont need the manual
More in depth review of the interface: The main screen has 2 main options, "where to" & "view map" the first option takes you into a second menu screen here are the main ones but not the only options
Home - This takes you to your home address entered into the settings menu
Addresses - This menu lets you enter by country/city then further into post code and house number.
Points of interest - If you are new to sat nav this allows option lets the user select things like castles, petrol stations etc, very invaluable and works well.
Recent finds - This option lets you navigate to an address previously navigated to.
Google local search - This is by far the best extra feature, you can use the phones mobile internet to search google for extra things e.g Food & Drink, Fuel, Transportation, Lodging, Shopping, Bank, Parking, Entertainment, Recreation, Attractions, Hospital, Community, Auto services i.e Repair garages
The second main menu option is view map, i use this with the free speed camera database and have it on during my journeys to to the right limits and avoid points.
The program opens up really quickly and can lock on to satellites very quickly using A-gps, this uses the mobile phone masts to already get some gps co-ordinates, i would recommend keeping this on charge when in the car as gps does require a fair bit battery.
Overall a excellent piece of software on the symbian platform, having this on my phone means i can eventually get rid of my standalone sat nav! its fast, easy to use and good value for money!
