I bought this as a last minute item for £149 on my way to see relatives.
The traffic and weather were both horrendous and I couldn't imagine trying to follow my routeplanner printout!!
I got it out the box, plugged it in, attached it to the bracket and away I went. The display was easy to read, the voice was clear and 90 minutes later I arrived.
I think what sold it to me was the fact that once charged you could use it for up to 8 hours without having it plugged in, leaving the cigarette lighter socket free for the kids DVD players.
It had a really funky option of changing the car design that you see on the screen.
We used it to go further and touring Wales it was a godsend. It recognised Points of Interest, it recognised 99% of place names and postcodes I put in (yes all this and it has full postcode search too!!)
Most importantly when I missed a turning (fairly often) it redirected me without any hassle at all.
It had the whole of UK on it with a SD Card slot for music or alternative mapping info. It has an integrated hard drive so you can store music and audio books.
It also has a security lock built in where you can set your own pin code and security location.
You get a leather carry case in the box and the lead for the pc

Advantages: Great little Sat Nav unit, clear and fast Disadvantages: Traffic unit doesn't work, software updater doesn't work, hard to get out of windscreen mount!
