Garmin Oregon 200

Advantages: Easy to use, does what it's suppsed to do!
Disadvantages: Satellite pairing takes ages, no mains charger!

After extensive researching, price comparison and review reading, I came across the Garmin Nuvi 200w, and a sat nav system that seemed to impress greatly, so i decided to take the plunge and bought one. Much like many of the reviews I had read on the Nuvi 200w, my first impressions of it were very good. I bought the system off the Littlewoods website, as it had been reduced in a seasonal sale that they were having. This meant that the system was on offer for around £30 less than on any other reputable site that I could find it on. The product was well packaged, securely and compactly fitted to an inner cardboard shelf, that meant that the sat nav was unable to move or rattle within the box, therefor limiting the chance of damage during postal delivery to a minimum. ...As a 100.000 mles a year long distance courier driver, a good sat nav is very important to me. updated because my old sat nav, at 3 years old, was getting a bit dated. OLD SAT FINDS ROADS THAT 200W CANT. maps seem 2 be way out of date. the only sat nav that i know off that does not have traffic light camara's warning. had i known this, it would have been the one thing that would have stopped me buying it. Good points? does what a sat nav is made for. put full post code in and it wil get you straight to the door, great. if you want a sat nav that you will use 5/10 times year, holiday's, days out, ect. buy it. if, like me, you do a lot of miles, I would think long and hard.... ...I have been using a previous Oregon Scientific projection clock for the past couple of years, and I have been very pleased with it. I decided to get this model because one of the main points is that the projection is strong enough to be seen in daylight. Even on a really bright day, it is still possible to see the time on the ceiling or wall, unlike previous models. As with previous models, it has the radio controlled time feature, meaning that it is always up to date, and requires no manual changes. Although it is possible to turn the radio signal receiver off, and do it manually. This may have to be done if you are using it in an area of weak or no signal.
