A Non Peeling After Sun

Advantages: no peeling, works quick, absorbs and softens skin
Disadvantages: slightly sticky

So, last weekend was probably one of the hottest of the year so far according to me. I didn't actually realise how hot it was at the time of course so avoiding putting on suntan lotion. However, I later regretted this when I got home, after hours of sunbathing. I noticed my arm was bright red as were my cheeks and nose. I didn't have any after sun at home unfortunately at the time so I was made to live out my daily life in humiliation with a bright red nose. The first thing I did when I had the time to do so was run into Tesco and get some kind of after sun. The Ambre Solaire one was on offer so I bought it and ran home. The bottle is quite nice a light blue colour and this is relevant as it is a soother. It has a secure top that you snap open and the typical Garnier logo. After Sun with a Hint of Orange

Advantages: Good moisturising Properties
Disadvantages: Makes your hands go orange

I saw this on special offer (B.O.G.O.F) in Superdrug just before my last holiday. What a bargain I thought as this normally retais at £6.99 per bottle (150ml). This just serves to remind me that some items are on special offer for a reason. ***The Product*** The product is easily identifiable as part of the Ambre Solaire product range, coming in a blue and white flip top tube which stands on its lid that has a large Garnier Ambre Solaire logo at the top and can usually be found with their other sun products in Boots, Superdrug and other major retailers. The after sun is advertised as being a soothing, hydrating moisturiser specially developed to rebalance dehyrdrated and over-heated skin caused by excessive skin exposure together with low levels of self tanning ingredients to subtly enhance and deepen your tan. It contains ...

Review of Garnier Ambre Solaire After Sun Maintainer

More than just an after sun.

Advantages: Aftersun & fake tan all in one, cooling and hydrating.
Disadvantages: Orange nails and clothes.

Why I chose this product? I usually take my leftovers of suntan lotion and after sun on holiday but I read an article last year that the stability of sun protection lotions is unknown and as a result the shelf life of these products may have been over estimated. I quickly binned the dregs and half empty bottles that were lurking in my cupboards. New lotions and after sun were bought for my recent holiday to Kos, Greece. I bought Garnier Amber Solaire moisturising protection spray and Garnier Amber Solaire After Sun hydrating tan maintainer. The packaging has changed slightly so I've included a picture of the actual one I bought. This after sun claims to "hydrate skin and intensify suntan". It is suitable for the face and body being both non-greasy and non-sticky. The back of the tube reads "Is hydrating tan maintainer right ...
