It is coming to that time of year when we bare some more flesh - yes, it is a month or two away but summer is pretty close here..:)
I bought this product last spring/summer when I had a pretty good fitness regime and was in the gym and steam room or sauna a lot while conditioning my body.
I suppose I should admit in this review that I have had some cellulite on my thighs and although I do not pay much attention to it and it does not affect my general being; It felt good that I could do something about it when I saw this product.
Must've paid less than five pounds for it, it was affordable and that's one of the reasons I bought it, otherwise I don't tend to waste time with such products.
I used to use the 'Garnier Skin Naturals Body Tonic Anti-Cellulite Rollerball' after a good workout or a good pampering.
The product is in a small rounded plastic container which is very light to carry and you can carry it around in your handbag; say if you feel the need to apply it while out and about.. The container is a bright yellow which is very catchy to the eye and you will not miss it on the shelf among other products in the Garnier range. I got mine from Superdrug, they have one right next to the gym I went to which was like a haven before or after a work out:)
The product is in a liquid gel form encased in the container with a white roller ball on one end of it, the roller ball is the same as you'd find on some deodorant / anti-perspirant products so it's pretty straight forward to use.
According to the instructions on the pack 'Dispense a thin layer onto the area to be treated. Massage into the skin with the rollerball in circular movements. Use your hand to smooth in the remainder of the serum until absorbed.'
The product has a nice slightly strong citrusy scent which will make you feel even fresher if you use it after a shower or bath. It also feels tingly on the skin and this must be due to the fact that it contains the 'citrus extract'.
It is easily absorbed by the skin and leaves a smooth feeling to the area without leaving grease in its wake.
The pack also details that it contains 'lipo-reducing caffeine' and 'drainage stimulating'.. Now I am no beauty expert so I'd hazzard a guess at what the above really are but in my opinion, the product seemed to work. I think this may attributed to the combination of the product and the massaging of the problem area. It also helps with firming of the area.
I used this product in combination with the firming lotion in the range and found they work... I think it may also depend on how tough one's cellulite may be and some may need to use the product more, massage more or use for longer.
Although the pack is small, you do not need to use too much product at a time so it could last for sometime.
I'd recommend the product, if you wear a swimsuit from time to time, this is the one to try.. I am starting another fitness and swimming regime and I came across the product in my stash and I shall be using it again...let's just say winter is not so kind if one doesn't keep up with the fitness!
