that even though I reapplied I really did not burn at all and I think I got a great coverage and protection with it. It comes in various different strengths, 40spf, 30spf, 20spf and 15spf. I use the 30spf (described as high protection for very fair skin that is already tanned) and use it all over my body and face and felt like I had a great barrier against the sun. The good thing about this lotion too is that it is water resistant so you can put it on and go in the swimming pool or the ocean and still get great protection as it does not wash off. You can feel that it is still on your skin even when you get out of the water. However, according to some information I have read, water resistant lotion only last for approximately 80 minutes in the sun so you do have to reapply. A great way to protect your little uns from the sun

Advantages: easily rubbed in, high factor.

This product is great at keeping our little one's skin healthy. It contains both UVA and UVB protection which is essential in sun can products. What does it do? It protects the skin from the damaging rays from the sun which can lead to skin cancer in later life. It is hypoallergenic and specially designed for children. It is factor 50+ which is th ehighest factor readily available. How do I use it? Apply the sun screen just before sun exposure. Rub into the skin which is exposed. Garnier Ambre Solaire GEL good for oily skin;for use on body only

Advantages: Gel formulation, makes skin shimmer, available in high SPFs
Disadvantages: price, smell, dry oil feel on skin

for bargains- both Boots and supermarkets like ASDA or Sainsbury?s have 2 for 1 deals which I have seen often before. All in all, it made my skin shimmer on holiday, protected it well (I used SPF 30) and I did not burn. SPF 30 gave me a lovely hint-of-tan glow on my medium-warm olive skin. If you want a tan, go with a lower SPF like 20 on your body. But if you need to protect your face, buy a sunscreen for your face.
