~The Cream itself~
The box is quite eye catching and the tube (and the range of firming products for Garnier) is bright red. It is a small long tube with a fiddly twist cap. I had previously tried and been pleased with Garnier's Nutritionist Eye Cream which helps dark circles, so was hoping this did the trick. ... ...and visibly soften wrinkles and fine lines. It is supposed to have visible effects after 8 days. It is pretty straightforward directions for use, you just apply a small amount to around the eyes in the morning and evening, making sure the skin is clean first. The box claims that this product contains 'skin relaxing ginger' and 'natural essence of cherries' which apparently all goes towards making me look 21 (hopefully) again!
~What Happened?~ Well as I peered into the mirror very recently I realised that my next birthday was going to make me 32....32! I was outraged, but not as outraged as when I looked closer around my eyes and realised that....oh no......there are wrinkles that I am absolutely positive weren't there last week! It was time to face facts; the wrinkles were here to stay unless I did something about it. So with a tentative step I made my way wearily to Boots (very depressed with this realisation I might like to point out) to look at the current eye products.
~The Selection~ Now I must point out that I am not a traditional girly girl and tend to shy away from heavy make up and the like so I am pretty clueless when it comes to the latest and greatest products. When I realised that there was such a wide selection I have to be honest and say it scared me a little. However I realised that the primary factor was cash! I didn't have bundles of it and actually didn't want to part with too much in case it didn't work!
There are numerous brands that claim to firm, reduce and keep wrinkles at bay. I realised that I had spent some time reading all the info on the back of the boxes and had spent nearly and hour at it and was still no further forward. You have the bigger and more expensive brands like Roc, Lancome and Clarins all coming in at around the £30 mark, too high for me so I concentrated on the cheaper brands hoping they would still be effective I eventually opted for the Garnier Ultralift firming eye cream that had £4 off making it only £6.49 for a 15ml tube.

~Well...did it work?~ I make sure that I religiously apply this cream in the morning and evening EXACTLY as directed. After all I want to maximise the potential for this to work. I can say that after 2 weeks I actually think that this is working. No I am not miraculously suddenly looking like Jennifer Aniston...but...well maybe they appear a little less 'obvious'. When I first started applying the cream it felt a little bit like it was stinging but this went after around a minute or two. After the first day I didn't feel any stinging at all. The smell of the cream is slightly fragranced but not an overly sweet smell and the cream also rubbed in pretty well and didn't feel too heavy on my skin. I think that this helps the appearance but is by no means a miracle cream. I think that for the price range this was in and the effects so far, it is well worth a try. All in all a very reasonable product that seems to be doing the trick!

Quick review of Garnier UltraLift Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream
Although it wont make that much difference in the long term to your eyes, I found that this cream is great when you put it on just before the makeup.
I don't have many wrinkles around my eyes but sometimes they look dry and puffed up and the makeup gets into the small creases. When I use this cream, I've noticed an overall improved look for a few hours. You can usually see the difference within half hour or so.
It's consistency is much lighter than other eye creams and absorbs really well. No residue. The smell is ok, although nothing to write home about. ...

Advantages: there are no advantages Disadvantages: you waste your money and get just another moisturiser in a tube.
Ok so Im pretty sure the reviewers at the top giving this product 5 stars are either 20 years old or sales people trying to flog this useless product. Ive used it for 6 weeks and it does absolutely nothing. I really think laws should start clamping down on these charlatans getting away with this anti ageing false advertising. But then if people are stupid and desperate enough to keep wasting money on this rubbish then we are asking for it. I recommend ... ...to break the news to you all but anti ageing elixirs dont come on a supermarket shelf if in fact they even exist at all. I suppose we can all live in hope. Then again how bout we all age disgracefully and give these rip off companies the finger LOL ...

Advantages: Light texture, really smooths out wrinkles, nice packaging Disadvantages: A little expensive
I've always been a little paranoid about the skin around my eyes, as when I'm tired or rundown, this is the first place it shows! I'd noticed some fine lines popping up and decided to blitz them! Off I went to Boots so see what I could find and I came home with Garnier Skin Naturals UltraLiftEyeCream. It cost me £7.99 at the time for a 15ml tube, but at the moment it's on offer at £6.78.
Looks: The box is white with a picture of the red tube on the front, which is the actual size of the tube inside. It has the usual round leaf design at the top with Garnier Synergie written in bold silver writing and Lift written undeneath in red, then under that it says Daily Firming eyecream, vitamin A and revitalising agents, anti-wrinkle and dermatologically tested at the bottom. The tube itself is red and has Garnier Skin Naturals written in ...
