It had been a long while since I had ventured back into the sweaty realms of Sheffield's largest Saturday night out, but when I did I was very shocked. It wasn't the atmosphere, it wasn't even the cheesey trance that seems to be prevelent in most dodgy substandard night clubs you may find yourself wishing you weren't in. It was the hundreds upon hundreds of pink/blue/white glo sticks that were thrust in my face by countless wide eyed and bushy tailed clubbers that I happened to walk past.

I had found myself in yet another one of the 2 a penny nite spots you could find on a holiday in Maguluf. Shocking. It had changed dramatically since I last paid a visit. The clubbers were all one of the same. I felt like a complete individual. There were no smooth dressers and no classy women that you can find in a good house club.

Maybe this was a good thing. The atmosphere made up for the sheep like dressers and poor trance. I actually had a good night (athough would have preferred being in Bed, that's the club not the thing you sleep in) The clubbers were not fused up their own arses, but were friendly, chatty and off thier tits.
Although it wasn't my cup of tea, if you've just started going clubbing or if you fancy a night of banging trance give it a go (that's if you already haven't) but don't believe the hype. It's a good night out, but best avoided if you prefer your deep funky American house, and don't like turning up somewhere with the same outfit on as the person next to you.
