We have a Gateway 650 performance computer which we bought 4 months ago. We decided on this one for several reasons; 1.Comparing it with the packages available from the likes of Currys, PC World, Time etc it seemed to be only slightly more expensive if you discounted the cheap printers and scanners which are included with most of these packages. We went for a much better quality scanner and printer, and when we looked at the Ccheap" packages, and added on the price of the better scanners and printers, there wasnt much difference. 2.The "Which" report on computers placed Gateway near the top for quality. Those supplied by Time, Tiny, and Currys were well down the lists of reliability and service standards. 3.Experiences of many of our friends confirmed that Gateway werte amongst the best performing machines, and represented the best value for money. We are sure that we made the right decision with our experience to date!
