Its loud, its quiet, its light, its dark. The Gear 4 Houseparty 24/7 is an excellent speaker system for your ipod, or any other mp3 or walkman system. I have found it very good for listening as i go to sleep with the timer setting, as an alarm clock or at housepartys. Truly what it says on the tin. I have had it for over two years now, and in all that time the only issues I have found with it are the lack or a port for external speakers to plug into, which limits the sounds, and even thought the screen has three different light levels, even the lowest seems to illuminate the room at night. But overall, excellent quality of sound, excellent style and and excellent buy.
