I received the Gear 4 Street Part III as a christmas present along with an ipod!

The speaker has a connecter which means it is compatible with most ipods and the ipod itself rests nicely on the speaker unlike previous speakers I have ownded in which the ipod constantly falls out!

The speaker is avaliable in a few different colours meaning it can be mathed to the colour of your ipod or the kind of person you are. I have the pink one and think that it looks great with my pink ipod! The whole of the speaker is actually speaker instead of using too much space for buttons which are on the top of the speaker, easily accessible and respond well when pressed.

Now the biggy.... sound quality!
I think the sound quality of the speaker is pretty good, It obviously doesn't compare to some of the high end speakers you can buy out there but as a general bedroom/living room speaker it certaintly does the job well!

A feature I particularly like of this speaker is that it charges your ipod when it is plugged it meaning it doesn't just drain the battery when its playing songs and you don't need to use the USB cable to connect your ipod to your computer instead you can just leave it in the speaker to charge!

I have found that the price of these varies greatly I have seen them in music shops for almost twice as much as in supermarkets so it's proabaly best to shop around!

Overall, A good speaker the only draw back is that it doesn't come with a remote control meaning the speaker has to be next to you so you can operate it, or you have to move to. Either that or you have to create a playlist on your ipod before hand!
