I really enoyed the first campagin but as money reviewers stated it was quite short and the ending did annoy some. Thankfully the story is much better off this time round. The story follows macrus and dom on an emotional story to finish off the locust and find doms wife maria.
Presentation
As gears of war 1 looked so incredible many different reviewers questioned if gears of war 2 could look any better than the first. But since epics showing of the newly updated unreal engine peoples minds started to beleive and gladly they did. The graphics are incredible, bascially mindblowing. They have improved alot than the first gears of war, with added extras like new water effects you cant go wrong.
Multiplayer The multiplayer is pretty much the same as the first but with some tweaks. Firstly the shotguns damgaed has been decreased which could annoy some players of the first.The modes are all back including others such as submission. There is also a new mode called horde which puts you after wave and wave of ever increasing difficulty of locust. The one minor problem with multiplayer is the slow matchmaking, epic have made an update which has helped people but not everyone.
Conclusion
Gears of war 2 is probably my favouirte game this year, it is a must for any xbox 360 owner.
